Hima Charitable Trust is the concrete form of a few earnest minds who wanted to make a change in the Malabar region, especially its southern areas, which is a bit backward in educational and social fields. Hima Charitable Trust acts with Perambra as its centre and aims at the total development of its nearby areas too. Providing quality education at an affordable level, mainly for the common people of the area is the main aim of the trust. At the same time Hima Charitable Trust tries to identify brilliant students and support them to reach nobler area of life, adopt and offer good education to financially backward children, offer career and educational guidance and to carry out charitable activities. With all these noble aims, the trust has been moving forward since April 2000.
